A native of Chicago, Trey was raised on the Northwest Side. Trey attended and graduated from area schools St. Andrew School, Fenwick High School, and DePaul University, where he graduated 3.5 years early with a degree in economics.

Trey is just one example of how a good education can change a child’s life. At a young age, Trey’s passion and promise earned him scholarships to attend the schools best suited for him. His unique experience provided insight and perspective to OCI initiatives and activities during the three years he worked at One Chance Illinois.

As Policy Associate, Trey helped develop research and craft policy that expanded high quality education opportunities to his own peers. His knowledge and education experience brought a unique perspective to OCI’s work. Trey currently lives in New York, teaching through the ACE Fellowship.
