Seth Litt

CEO, Parent Revolution

Seth Litt is the new CEO of Parent Revolution, a Los Angeles-based parent organizing non-profit focused on “kids first” education policies. Parent Revolution was formed in 2009 and played a role in creating California’s “parent trigger” law. It also offers guidance and help to parent groups wanting to implement the law at their school.

Seth has spent twelve years working in public schools in The South Bronx, New York. He has served as a middle school teacher, a Teach for America corps member, a union chapter leader, and seven years as a school principal. Most recently, he was the founding principal of a charter high school designed to serve students who have the least access to an excellent education, those who are over-age and under-credited and involved with the court system or in foster care.

Seth holds an undergraduate degree in American Studies, with Thesis Honors, from Tufts University and a master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Fordham University.
