Raymond Allmon

Founder, Boys Prep Catalyst

Raymond Allmon works in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as the Founder of Boys Prep Catalyst. He organizes and engages the right network of very dedicated parents, policy experts, elected officials, and school leaders to yield powerful results, specifically ones that facilitated a policy that brought $15 million of new investments in high quality teachers. Upon building a network, Allmon worked diligently to help better navigate school performance scores, kids’ grades, and the college admissions process.

Raymond was the previous city director of Stand for Children Louisiana, which supports efforts to get children a quality education. He previously worked with New Leaders for New Schools, where he was responsible for driving achievement in hard-to-staff schools in the New Orleans area.

He grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and matriculated from the lowest performing middle school in the city, to graduate with honors from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Mass Communications and a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
